Issue II: Fall 2020

Since Issue II, the International Column has been discontinued.

Dear Reader,

Wesleyan is a bubble. Sometimes we overlook issues that don’t directly have an effect on us. That’s precisely what this column seeks to change. The International Column of the Wesleyan Business Review seeks to educate the greater Wesleyan community about international economic events. This particular series of articles focuses on the impact the COVID-19 pandemic had on various classes in different countries, addressing whether or not different governments have done enough to address the widespread pandemic. The various authors that contributed to this series bring in a personal perspective, since most of them are from/visited/lived in the countries they write about. As someone that’s grown up in a different country myself, including India and Singapore, it’s important to me that we start a dialogue about various international issues, allowing us to not only be mindful but embrace a broad range of perspectives.

Enjoy this series!

Sincerely,Aditi Mahest ‘21
